Where you arrive

Argostoli is your port town and the island’s capital. Myrtos Beach and Melissani are elsewhere on Kefalonia and require road transport.

Find your pace

Three ways to spend your day

01

An easy wander

Enjoy Argostoli’s waterfront and town cafés.

02

Island scenery

Choose a planned coastal drive with selected viewpoints.

03

A cave adventure

Consider a Melissani excursion rather than squeezing several distant stops into one day.

Before you head ashore

The island is larger than a postcard suggests. Choose a manageable route and confirm return transport. Check beach access and sea conditions; a scenic viewpoint and a swimming beach are different plans.

Your berth, tender arrangements and available excursions can vary by sailing. Check the onboard programme, keep the ship’s emergency contact with you and plan to return before the published all-aboard time.
